Here’s what is new at Greenstone Insurance

If you weren’t already aware, this year our Taihape office moved premises.
We are now at 99 Hautapu Street. It has brought a lot of positive feedback sporting a fresh new look, designed by George.
It’s also great to see an empty building put to use.
If you haven’t popped in yet, make sure you do!

There are a few new faces in both the Taihape and Hastings offices.
Here’s a little bit about them!

First, there’s Dave!
Dave immigrated from the UK in 2005 with his wife and two sons and now has a Kiwi daughter! Prior to moving to NZ, he spent over 20 years in London working in the financial sector for banks and financial information companies.

Dave has broad financial knowledge and has specialised his interest in insurance over the last 10 years working within Risk Management, Commercial and Business Insurance. Client relationships are paramount in Dave’s eyes; giving good service and supporting his clients with well-researched insurance solutions is his key to long and beneficial partnerships.

Next there’s Gaye!
Gaye has worked in client services mainly in general insurance in the Hastings office for 22 years.

Gayes interests include highland and national dancing and family activities. She has 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren whom she loves spending time with.

Then there’s Heather!
Heather is the newest member in our team in Taihape. You may have seen her around as she works for Hautapu Pine as well.
Heather moved from Wanganui to Taihape last year and has a background in design. She has recently discovered a green thumb for plants and loves music. Make sure to say hi next time you see her!

A change to AMP nominated representative status
As you may be aware, the regulations for Financial Advisers are changing soon.
The Government has introduced a new regulatory regime for financial advice. Key elements being introduced are: a universal Code of Conduct, better Disclosure, and entity-based Licensing. The changes are designed to improve financial advice provided to New Zealand consumers. In advance of these changes, AMP and the Greenstone Insurance Advisers have agreed to reframe our arrangements.
Effective from the 16th September 2019, we have been operating solely as Registered Financial Advisers for Greenstone Insurance. Further details are included in our Disclosure Statements. Going forward, AMP will continue to be one of the product providers we can use to meet your needs.

Here at Greenstone Insurance, we try our best to minimize paper correspondence where we can. If you feel the same and would instead like to receive your correspondence via email, please let us know by replying to this email and you’ll go in the draw to win a Greenstone gift box!
